A hair follicle test involves the removal of hair cut at the scalp. (90-120 strands) This sample is usually taken at the base your neck but as a client you will be able to tell collector where hair should be collected from.

Hair follicle testing can detect drug use up to 90 days. Depending on the drug that was use, hair testing can at times determine when and whether a certain drug as been discontinued.

Drugs Detected:

Amphetamine/methamphetamine/ecstasy

Marijuana metabolite

Cocaine and metabolites

Opiates (codeine, morphine, 6-acetylmorphine)

Phencyclidine (PCP)

Oxycodone (oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone)

An oral fluid drug test is directly observed by the collector. Donor is instructed to guid the collection device into their mouth and directs saliva on to the cotton pad. Depending on the manufactuor of the test you may have a test that indicates when there is enough sample. The sample is then placed in the collection tube and sealed.

*Mouth must be empty at least 10mins prior to test.

Depending on the drug used, dose, and route of administration, a drug may be detected in oral fluid in less than one hour & can be detectable 5-48hrs after last use.

Drugs that can be detected:

*5-panel

Amphetamine/methamphetamine/ecstasy

Benzodiazepines
